I am resident of the United States,

having been one of New Zealand’s leading makeup and hair artists for nearly 20 years. A majority of my work has been with American co-productions. I have spent many years in supervisory positions.

I have worked in key supervisory positions on Peter Jackson’s LORD OF THE RINGS and KING KONG.

When not working on feature films or television series I am busy doing commercials for local and overseas companies as well as photographic stills.

Whatever the criteria or format (whether making someone look utterly beautiful in any format with a total no makeup look, a full correct period piece, or a car crash victim), all areas are well researched and executed with total professionalism and realism. I pride myself on expertise and attention to detail, and am considered by my peers and employers as a master of my craft. I have over eight years of airbrushing experience, and, although new to Photoshop, use it frequently as a design tool

I have flair in creative design and apply this to all my work, often being called upon for this specifically. I have an extensive knowledge and interest in contemporary & period work and look forward to applying this, along with other skills, to your production. I take a professional approach to my work, and am familiar with tight deadlines and fast turn-around. I am used to heading departments but enjoy and work well with and for others.

I have the patience and personality required to work on a one to one basis with any actor for any length project. I hold a certificate of entitlement in my passport enabling me to work in Europe, and am able to work in most Australasian countries
